How the Inuka program collects and uses your information — written for the program, in plain language.
What we collect
When you take the eligibility check or join Inuka, we collect the information you provide: age, location, education, work situation, self-reported income band, and optional information such as gender, disability or refugee status. Your Fuzu profile and program activity (learning, applications) are also part of your program record.
Why we collect it
To check program eligibility, prioritise the groups the program exists to reach, match you to suitable roles, support your learning, and report program outcomes to the funder in aggregated, de-identified form.
What employers see
Employers see your job application and profile information — never the private financial-need or eligibility details you shared for program purposes.
Purpose limitation and retention
Program data is used only for program purposes, retained only as long as the program and its reporting obligations require, and then deleted or anonymised. Your Fuzu profile remains yours, under Fuzu’s platform terms.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your program data at any time, in line with Kenya’s Data Protection Act. Contact the program team or use the Report a concern channel.
